HIGHLIGHT

Composer Li Haiying has excelled in crossing the boundaries of classical and popular music. In this concert, he conducts the GSO in works filled with childlike fancy. Two tone poems based on Chinese fairy tales (The Magic Paintbrush featuring solo bamboo flute; Morin Khuur featuring solo cello) and five folk-imbued Chinese dances will surely inspire and entertain.
